PM&L (www.pmlweb.com) is seeking to fill an experienced developer position focused on progressive web solutions for our clients. We employ the latest Microsoft technologies and tools, in a small, highly collaborative environment, to provide online services and support systems. Responsibilities include: utilizing the .NET Framework using Microsoft best practices, working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, and researching, planning, and developing new applications as pioneers to business. In addition to improving and maintaining existing code while working on new enhancements and features, writing, tuning, and debugging SQL stored procedures for use with web applications, collaborating with other developers and management to give and receive guidance while sharing ideas, presenting ideas during meetings, working with source code control systems, researching problems as necessary and recommending appropriate solutions, and performing code reviews for other team members to ensure development guidelines and security standards are met.
Qualified candidates will possess the following skills and abilities: 3+ years web development experience with ASP.NET and VB.NET using Visual Studio, a solid understanding of MS SQL stored procedures and queries, experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, strong communication and interpersonal skills, possess a high degree of self-motivation and ability to work independently with minimal supervision, demonstrated experience with the Software Development Lifecycle concepts and techniques including secure development methodologies, experience in ASP.NET, C# programming, Java, jQuery, developing for mobile platforms (Droid, Blackberry, iPhone), and working with social media.
